Hello,

What are the issues or bugs in GL firmware that probably leads to your poor user experience?

We have been working hard to improve, please let us know what you think.

I'm still waiting on the luci-app-sqm package to be fixed for the SlateAX, not getting much engagement from Gl staff so and update @bruce would nice.

We'd all like to know what's happening with the missing packages.

John

Hoping it's based on OP 24.10 final. Keen to use it.

I personally those 24.10.01 would have been released by now looking at the historic released of OP. There are some additional commits that will benefit Flint 2 / mediatek chipset.

What benefits will this firmware bring?

Newer kernel and OP version, possible scalability such as the third-party plug-ins will be more and version/feature newer.

mt2500?

If we pick through the changelog:
https://openwrt.org/releases/24.10/changelog-24.10.1
there's lots of Mediatek fixes that would benefit from moving to 24.10.1.

Any update on release?

Any update on release date?

Guys please don't bring other devices to this topic. At the moment op24 is just for Flint2 so the topic is for Flint2. Thanks for understanding

This is only partially correct. The OP24 firmware is available for the MT6000 (Flint 2) and the MT3000 (Beryl AX).

GL.iNet download center 4.7.5-op24 Beta released for download. Dont forget to do a backup before update.
