As the owner of multiple AR300M and AR300M16 (Shadow) routers, and as the unofficial support person for several more that friends and family purchased on my recommendation, I would like to know what the firmware roadmap is for this product line.
These routers are still being sold and are not listed as end‑of‑life, yet the AR300M has not received a firmware update since 2025‑03‑31 with version 4.3.25. They are far behind the feature set of your 4.7.x firmware, and even within the current 4.3.x branch you removed key features that existed in the 3.216 firmware, such as file sharing.
The AR750S, which has roughly the same processor and flash as the AR300M, has a 4.7.2 beta available. So why not release 4.7.x for the AR300M, and update the AR300M16 with whatever features will fit?
