I want to update my E750 travel router with this firmware file: openwrt-e750-4.0-release30319-0906-1725586285.tar But the router is telling me that this file or firmware is older than the firmware I am currently running on
Below is a screenshot of my current firmware
What can I do to solve this, cause it seems like this is the right firmware for my device?

You are having a 3.x firmware now. So when upgrading to 4.x firmware it may report incorrectly.
Pls upgrade without keep settings and it should be fine.
But I don't know why you have a VB_3.201 firmware. Seems it is from a business order.

I rebooted my router and after that, I could enter the VPN section, but unfortunately, the VPN is not working. In the screenshot, you can see that it wanted to write something on a /tmp/run/Ovpn_resolved_ip folder, but that folder isn't there

From your log you used the wrong username and password from Nord.
Pls kindly confirm.

Yes true. They changed the rules. You cannot use the normal username and passport anymore but it has to be encrypted
