My use case (maybe useless information):
I want to use two Flints, both via wifi and lan. I have some equipment and streaming devices which need to communicate flawless between both routers (camera is connected to one flint and stream is shown on second flint). Internet speed is 1000m/bit via sat cable.
My setup:
I use a Flint 2 (lets call him Flint B) with v. 4.8.1. in network mode “Access Point”. Flint B is connected to another Flint 2 (lets call him Flint A) which is set on Router mode. Flint A is connected to a fritzbox 6690 cable, which is just used as a cable modem, the www source. The wifi signal is very good everywhere and I have only a thin line where the wifi signal of both Flints is overlapping.
The issues I have:
- [MAJOR] Sometimes when I am connected with wifi on Flint B, websites are not loading, even though I am next to the router. The wired connection on the other hand works without any issues. I havent recognized this problem when I am connected by wifi on Flint A.
- [MAJOR] I assume its related to the above issue: I have a camera which streams into the network on Flint B. Sometimes when I am connected to Flint A automatically by wifi the stream can not be seen.
- [MINOR] When logging onto Flint B alle the connected device’s names are shown as “Unknown”
Question:
- Is there something which has to be setup on Flint A, as it seems that options on Flint B in AP mode are very limited?
- How could I log and debug the occurance of the issue? I.e. if I am again not able to load a website: Which command would gather an insight for the reason?
Thank you in advance for your help!
