I am using a Flint 2 configured for HKBN (Hong Kong). The speeds I get are under 100 mbps which should be 20x higher. I get high speeds when connected to the lan cable without the flint 2 but once the flint 2 is plugged in the spped cap is under 100mbps.
Are there any settings I need to change? Thanks

OK just did a quick reboot of my docking station and seeing respectable wired download / upload speeds on my laptop again (816/414Mb/s).
Docking station (Lenovo TB3) has always been hyper-reliable for me and have never noticed it causing 100Mbps wired speed limiting in the past.
OP: if there's a switch or dock between Flint2 and your machine, might want to reboot it/them just to be sure link speed negotiation isn't somehow borked. Still it's curious that we're both HKBN customers and had the same problem at the the same time.
Thanks much for the response.HKBN insists this is a hardware issue with this brand of modem and suggests I return it and buy a TP Link instead.
I switched to direct lan without the Flint and am getting 2400 speeds but the moment I plug in the router it drops to under 100.
a buddy of mine living nearby (Yau Tsim Mong) also reports the same issue when using a Beryl and the HKBN rep said it was GLinet throttling their hardware.
I have rebooted everything and even swapped laptops and hardware with the same result which is frustrating lol.
I am hoping someone from Glink has some solution as they are HK based and should have some indication of whats up with HKBN.
MT3000 and MT6000 seem to be somewhat picky about Ethernet cables. Ensure you have Cat. 6A cables from a reputable brand.
Thanks. Will look into this as well. I am currently using the cable that came with the router.
Update:
I have a post up on reddit and someone else has responded with similar issues while using HKBN.
Meanwhile I have purchased a bunch of new good quality Cat 6 cables and no joy with them either.
I have emailed GLi support a few times and no response. HKBN insists GLi is selling a defective product in HK and repeatedly suggests I report them to the consumer council or file a chargeback if they refuse to respond.

Hello,
Please PM me your email address which have sent/contacted with the GL.iNet support team, and the issue 'Ticket' ID.
I don't see any DM option. Just tried to DM you. Thank you.
I think our support team has contacted with you to check this issue. If not, please let me know.
They did reach out very promptly. Thank you for following up. Much appreciated.
Arya was incredibly helpful and put in a lot of effort trying to fix the isue but it seems like HKBN is intentionally throttling unless you buy one of their devices which are absolute rubbish when compared to yours.
