I just upgraded to the Openwrt 24 version 4.9 firmware. Dns works fine if I leave it to automatic. It will resolve to my isp’s dns fine. But when I try to use encrypted dns it always defaults to cloudflare no matter which option I select. I reverted back to version 4.8.3 and the problem goes away. Enabling adguard home also lets me select something other than cloudflare. It appears there might be bug. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you keep settings or do a fresh upgrade? I upgraded my Flint 3 and two travel routers to 4.9.0.
It's a major update and keeping my old settings didn't go well. After clearing my old settings and redoing the setup, everything works as expected.
Yes, I did reset everything to default and started from scratch. The encrypted dns still defaults to cloudflare.

The new version of op24-4.9.0 (beta2) has been released. Please try to upgrade to this latest firmware and check whether the issue is solved.
