Is it possible to compile the proprietary drivers directly into openwrt?

Officially, I don’t think so. But if you make some changes to OpenWrt then it’s possible, since I’ve seen it done for some other routers.

With the glinet i reach 1gbit on 5Ghz, with openwrt image only 600mbit

Did you enable WED? It’s off in OpenWrt snapshots and on in the GL.iNet firmware.
