I dabble with electronics along with other tech and noticed that the Flint 2 has serial port terminals on the pcb (ref: Openwrt / MT6000). My experience with Linux is limited, though I have built several Pi projects. I attempted to identify the internal serial port via a few CLI commands such as dmesg | grep tty, but haven't been able to verify the OS sees this port. Still, I have to believe it's possible somehow.
Has anyone experimented with this? I've got an idea to use lcdproc for a small lcd display that could show cpu, traffic, lan port up/down, etc. I miss the blinkenlight leds.
TIA
