Hey I got Openvpn working and I was testing it on my phone and I noticed that everything seems to almost work. After a restart I was able to enable traffic from local IPs, but I noticed that LAN hostnames do not work on the VPN. I'm not sure why, but just hostnames aren't working. They work perfectly on my LAN, just not the VPN.

It may be that the VPN client does not inherit the LAN DNS server, or OpenVPN does not push the correct DNS configuration.
You can capture packets on the VPN client to view the DNS request path.( Wireshark)
