Flint 2 Router Vodafone UK

Hi, I've received my Flint 2 today which I plan to use to replace my Vodafone Router. I have received my PPPOE information including VLAN ID from Vodafone and entered this in the settings. However, I still cannot get an ethernet connection.

Can anyone offer any advice? The Vodafone Forums were shut down so there's limited advice available.

Am I correct in thinking that I should have been able to enter my information, plugged in my cable from my ISP and it work?

Thanks in advance for any support and apologies if my terminology isn't spot on.

Afaik Vodafone uses MAC filtering on their PPPoE
Try to copy the old MAC from your Vodafone router or call them to submit the new MAC.

Thanks for the replies I have tried copying the MAC without success and am on FTTP ONT (Vodafone 500mb service)

You don’t need to change the VLAN

you only need to put in your pppoe username and password which VF staff will give you.

You are best getting the username and password from online chat or email as these are case sensitive. Also, support have been know to give out the incorrect information so even if you have them, double check they are correct.

Thanks I managed to get it working.

As you suggested no VLAN was needed.

It didn't work using my computer but with my phone it instantly connected.
