I am using a Flint 2 router as my main router. It is connected to an xfinity modem/router that is in bridge mode. I tried the router in most of the firmwares, v4.7.0 and the new beta one, but I was having huge internet issues, getting speeds less than 50mb/s via ethernet and wifi, and disconnecting issues.
I upgraded my firmware to the luci openwrt 24.10.0, and the ethernet speeds are much better, and i am not disconnecting anymore, but it is very unstable. I will be getting 800mb/s sometimes, 200 mb/s other times, and 40mb/s sometimes. It is also noticeable during gaming. Did anyone have issues like this, and does anyone know how I can fix this issue? could it be a setting I can change in openwrt? So far, I tried enabling software offloading, but it didnt do anything.
Thanks for your reply. I sent you the syslog. For more information, I am using ethernet. I noticed that when I restart my router, the internet speed gets back to normal (900 mb/s), but after around 3 minutes, it gets back to around 300 mb/s. I have my router connected to the isp modem (which is in bridge mode). I tried changing the dns server, restarting, resetting, enabled SQM, hardware acceleration, etc. Could the problem be something to do with the interface devices? LAN is set for br-lan ~ WAN is set for eth1 ~ wan6 is set for eth1. Do I have to adjust anything in there for the internet to be more normal and consistent?
