Running 4.7.7, trying to test a tethered cell phone as a backup for Xfinity being down…. Tethered to an iPhone 16 pro, current iOS, unlimited tethering (works when connected to iMac and wireless clients)
iPhone thinks the Flint 2 is connected, flint 2 interface is stuck on connecting.
Any suggestions?
Disconnect. Forget the network. Then, enable "Maximize Compatibility" on the iPhone hotspot page to force 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz.
If that doesn't work, try downgrading your firmware to a lower version. Maybe even as far down as 4.6.9 if you need to.
It’s a wired usb connection so maximum compatibility shouldn’t affect anything.
Apologies, I missed the tethered part. In that case, try a lower firmware version.
