Flint 2 vs flint 3 - flint 3 is a downgrade

Hello, I've been keeping an eye on Flint 3 after having the flint 2 since my early bird purchase.

Comparing the specs I've noticed that the flint 3 has a huge difference in wireguard speeds and using inferior cpu, why would you guys make such a big downgrade

I was excited to hear about the flint 3 until seeing the specs it's a complete downgrade

Flint3 CPU maybe a little worse than 2, but Flint3 has better WiFi capabilities, and actual VPN speed/performance is also sufficient in the home scenario.

It just depends on the individual and how you use your router...If the latest wifi standard is important to you and you actually own devices that have wifi 7 capability then you might feel the need to upgrade. For me running OpenWRT on my Flint 2 (and Flint 1) I'm very happy staying put until I have a reason to upgrade.

The deal breaker for me is the drop in the total count of ethernet ports I need six, five isn't enough. I already have a few switches connected.

If you only need 6, why do you have a few switches?

Well I don't want to have to put another device on a switch
