Hi, I e been running snapshot builds for past few months havent had nay major issues, i decid3d to try the current Beta Build and all was fine u till around noon today when all wifi interfaces went off-line ive tried to use lan connection via Galaxy S22 and Dell XPS 13 9305 and the Routers GUI will not show, upokg doing a basic reboot the ligh4 stays solid blue but even when ive got it to tra siti9n to white L.E.D still had no Wi-Fi and unable to reach any Of the G.U.I pages to change settings.
Any ideas of how to recover my Flint 3 im guessing its boot looping or nit BOOT loading fully?
Firstly Id like to apologise for my poor spelling, I hadn’t had much sleep the previous night as was working on some Arduino/especially builds, I should hs
ave looked into things a bit more before posting but in the end its still a mystery as to why I was fine for first 24 hours, anywho after no response via LAN port directly connected with ethernet cable I decided to tske a break for about 4 hours. But ultimately in the end I juet had to put it in Uboot and recover it ehich was I think a blessing In disguise, as even tho7gh I do reset yhe router twice a week I noticed alot of flash was freed up along with ram and honestly was alot simpler than expected. Just hold reset/wps buttong on the rear ehilst plugging in/or ditching g the router on count to 20 or wait for the solids blue light to go white and then comes the hardest part ehich was surprisingly simple just swap to static ip and put 192.168.1.1 bam sorted even tho7gh I forgot to download the stable FW release and re-installed 4.10 it has been running fine for well over 36 hours no hiccups, there is still some small gripes ill have to raise with the developers such as still don't have the ability to use latest data logging /flow toos, and havent been able to use channel analysis in luci which actually would be very handy in my current living circumstances. But there just deals extras the main thing is ive still got a ridiculously stable,secure and fast router for only 40 AUD m9re than mercusys router icoriginally bought and said f*ck this locked down crap, despite only knowing the basics (so I thought) and being worried itd be too much for me to handle its been the opposite and had enabled me to expand my.onowledge on networking without stress, the fact recovering from a bootloop or partially corrupted bootloader took under 15 minutes is really impressive well I think anyway they made it so simple yet not too simple I feel I won’t even need to look it up in future on how to activate Uboot. If anyone has any ideas on why I get logged out everytime I try and do a channel analysis itd be greatly appreciated.
