Flint 3 - Firmware 4.8.1 and Tailscale

Quick question: I’ve been led to believe via a Reddit post that I should stick with Firmware 4.7 if using Tailscale. At the moment, my Tailscale exit node in the house is on an Alpine VM in my lab. I don’t run any VPN software on the router. Question is: Does the advice apply only to running Tailscale directly on the router itself?

Hi

This issue only affects running Tailscale directly on the router itself, stemming from a problem with CPU performance scheduling.
The affected firmware version has been withdrawn from the download center, and the latest release has resolved this issue.

Furthermore, Flint 3 is not impacted.

In summary: This will have no effect on your use case.
