When on the main Internet Tab the main wan port shows WAN but Lan 2 shows Lan, its set as a WAN so if i click the gear icon to go into port management that screen correctly shows it as WAN. I’ve tried to reboot even turned it back to lan then back to wan again and rebooted but it persists.
The top image shows the Interface name/physical port behind “Ethernet 1“/“Ethernet 2“.
The second image shows the interface name/physical port followed by its function (As WAN Port) or (As LAN Port).
Both those displays are not wrong, but possibly should be made more clear/obvious.
I could swear in previous firmware as soon as I changed LAN2 to WAN it showed as WAN on the main screen even way back to beta units, but I could be wrong and would then agree with your statement as when I noticed it I though O’crap that should be WAN not LAN sending internet to an internet source.
Sorry, it may have caused a misunderstanding that "LAN1" is actually a silk-printing of the casing.
If the "LAN n" is modified to WAN operating mode, then it will be displayed "Ethernet" port (one of the WAN source) on the INTERNET interface.
