Thanks for the detailed report. We tested this on a Flint 3 in our lab but could not reproduce the issue, including after creating a VPN AP using ath12 and rebooting the router.

Could you please confirm the exact firmware version installed on your BE9300? You can find it under SYSTEM → Upgrade in the Admin Panel.
