Flint 3 newbie guide to setup VLANs?

Dears,

I”m a newbie on networking in general and even more noobie on openwrt. I found out a guide by ryan pope on how to configure vlans on a flint2 and it seemed quite straightforward… but once the flint 3 arrived, I realized that in LUCI i can’t explicitly see eth enumerated ports hence I’m quite stuck.

I’d like to configure an easy scenario with three vlans: the first as main vlan covering the first two eth ports of the router plus a wifi connection. The second is dedicated to nvr and related poe cams and an antitheft central, using eth3 and 4. Lastly, a separated vlan using a specific wifi connection for iot/home appliances.

Doesn’t seem that complicated on the paper but given the absence of these interfaces i don’t even know how to start. Is there any newbie guide? Thank you so much!

Hi

You may refer to the following tutorial for configuring VLAN and IoT networks:

If the parent or child networks do not contain any VLAN-specific configurations, an alternative approach is to create a new bridge, add the relevant interfaces, and then attach the corresponding Wi-Fi SSID.
