Hi,
Ever since I changed the DNS filtering lists, AdGuard Home has stopped working; it seems to crash and I can no longer access the settings via the link 192.168.8.1:3000.
If I restart the router, it starts working again, but then stops working once more.
Flint 3 is updated to version 4.9.0 and AdGuard Home to 107.77.
The lists are the standard ones:
- AdGuard DNS Filter
- Hagezi’s Windows/Office Tracker Blocklist
- Hagezi’s Pro Blocklist
- Hagezi’s Samsung Tracker Blocklist
- HaGeZi’s Encrypted DNS/VPN/TOR/Proxy Bypass
- HaGeZi’s Threat Intelligence Feeds
I’ve also noticed that the Wi-Fi connection isn’t working any more, whilst the wired connection is still working.
Has anyone else had similar problems?
I have the same lists in Mudi 7 and I’m not having any problems
Thanks.
Regards.
How’s your RAM usage?
Particularly the “HaGeZi’s Threat Intelligence Feeds” is very large, are you using the full version?
Have you tested without the “HaGeZi’s Encrypted DNS/VPN/TOR/Proxy Bypass” ? Depending on your current configuration it could break or conflict with your Flint’s configuration.
I would start adding the lists one at the time … testing for some time, and if everything is ok adding the next one and repeat the process.
Actually, I’ve carried out a few tests in the meantime, and it could be the “HaGeZi’s Threat Intelligence Feeds” that’s using up all the memory.
I’ve disabled this list on the Flint 3 and enabled it remotely on AdGuard DNS, so the router no longer has to handle this list.
Presumably, as the Mudi 7 doesn’t have the traffic like Flint 3 and has fewer services enabled, it was able to cope with this list.
To avoid any issues, however, I’ve also disabled it on this router and enabled it remotely on AdGuard DNS.
In the meantime, I’ll see if it works properly like this.
Thank you.
