Flint 3 Vlan

I am struggling to create a vlan off one of the ports on the Flint 3.
following this guide: [OpenWrt Wiki] Guest Wi-Fi using LuCI

Device keeps pulling getting assigned an ip from the main DHCP. I dont see an option to exclude the bridged Lan, but alas...

Hi,

Please refer to this post:

So resolved the issue, the Ethernet ports are numbered in reverse, so port 4 on the physical device is actually port 1 on LuCi interface. So all is well. Managed to setup my Vlan in bridge mode correctly and gets the new dhcp assigned correctly

This is specific to the Flint 3, BE9300

It's true. I just tested it, and let me show here:

LAN ports in switch1:

switch1 port 1 port 2 port 3 port 4 port 5 port 6 port 7 port8
Number of 2.5G LAN / / / 4 3 2 1 /
Physical Order of Casing / / / 5 4 3 2 /

The 2.5G WAN is eth0, 1 in Physical Order in Casing.

If possible, could you please show us configure process and configuration?

Hi, I dont have access to the ports at the moment, but followed this tutorial. Instead of adding it to the wireless card, I went to "switch" section and added a new VLAN where CPU1 was tagged (as it needs to be tagged on all VLANS, and then made 1 untagged and the rest off. You will need to update the previous VLAN entry to "off" for the port you are using in the new VLAN as you cant have a port assigned untagged on multiple VLAN entries.

and voila!
