I recently switched to 10 GB fiber and haven't been able to reach high speeds on my Flint 3. Currently, I'm getting around 500 Mbps on Wifi and 450 Mbps on a Mac mini connected via Ethernet. All Ethernet cables connected to the router are brand new cat 6a. I ran a speed test on the router via ssh and got 2.5 Gbps since that is the max speed on the WAN port. I have tried turning SQM off and turning on network acceleration but saw no improvement. For reference, I have Adguard Home enabled, but disabling also doesn't seem to help. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Hi,
To help us narrow down the possible cause, could you please help check the following?
- Could you please share a screenshot of the Upgrade page showing your Flint 3's current firmware version?
- Could you please share a screenshot of the Ethernet Port page showing the negotiated link speeds of the WAN and LAN ports, the LAN port connected to your Mac mini.
- If possible, could you also try connecting another device, such as a smartphone, to the Flint 3's 5 GHz Wi-Fi and running a speed test using the same test server?
- During these speed tests, was any VPN enabled on the Flint 3 or your client devices? If so, could you please also try testing with the VPN disabled?
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
