Hey everyone, I am the proud owner of a new Flint 3e running the latest firmware 4.8.8. Picked it up very recently and so far everything about it has been pretty fantastic as far as speed/features goes. I am enjoying it. Except for one major issue; I’m having a hard time getting my Reolink RLC510WA wifi cameras to connect with it. They appear to authenticate successfully from everything I can see, but don’t actually receive an IP or connect over wifi. They worked perfectly fine out of the box with my ISP’s router. I’ve tried all the low hanging troubleshooting fruit with resetting them and reconnecting them, moving them closer to the router, and changing bands/frequencies. Has anyone encountered something similar to this? My doorbell from Reolink synced right up with no issues.
Are you using only wpa3 on your flint?
What ‘Aashish.007’ asked would of been my question, as many Wi-Fi cameras may not support the WPA3 encryption - try setting to WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE so it can fall back to WPA2-PSK if needed.
According to my info the Reolink RLC510WA doesn’t support WPA3 encryption, so if you only have WPA3 enabled on that particular Wi-Fi that your camera uses, then that may be the reason. Setting it to the mixed mode will allow devices that support WPA3 to use it and also fallback to WPA2 for devices that don’t.
Hello! I currently have WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE enabled. I switched it down to just WPA2-PSK and it still didn’t work.
Hello,
Please check the logs related to the camera. You can search by the camera MAC address to find the relevant context and connection logs. What do they show?
If try disabling hardware acceleration, will it connect well?
Good Morning Bruce, I disabled hardware acceleration and it seems to have made no difference. I’ve also included a blurb from the logs for the mac address(ec:71:db….)
Thank you!

Hello,
It appears that the authentication and handshake were successful, but the connection failed to complete.
Could you please test if the camera can connect to a different router or a mobile hotspot?
If it connects successfully, please try replicating those Wi-Fi settings (SSID and password) on the Flint 3e and check if the camera can connect to it.
