 Flint GL-AX1800 UBoot Error

Hi every one. I try to update my uboot but I receive error as the image. Anyone knows any solution?

Re-download the firmware and try again. Did you download the correct firmware?

Check the firmware's MD5 for integrity. Perhaps it had downloaded before in a corrupt way, so checking for that could be useful.

I downloaded the firmware .img file from GL-iNet website and tried different versions. Same error for all files

Can you explain more as I'm totally newbie. How can I check and verify the MD5?

Yes. When you download the firmware from the web, the firmware file has a MD5/SHA256 code embedded. When it's downloaded, if the MD5/(SHA256) code is different between the origin (the web) and the destiny (your download folder on your PC), the file is changed (so is corrupt). You can view the SHA256 code with tools like 7ZIP, with the option CRC-SHA->SHA-256 in the context menus of the file.

The SHA-256 of your downloaded file MUST be equal to the SHA-256 shown on the web. If not, the file is corrupt.

Thanks for explanation. I checked and the SHA-256 codes seem identical but the problem is still there :face_exhaling:

Which file did you download? Is it the right one for your router?

I use this link for .img file download. And following the instruction based on this tutorial.

I tried different versions. No difference

Follow the admins instructions. Perhaps there is something wrong with your router.
