Flint (GL-AX1800) WIFI issue on some devices/computers

Hi,
I'm facing a strange issue on a Flint router configured in AP mode (not in router mode)
A Dell laptop was not able to connect to the 5G AP, and it was not receiving any IP address. On the router interface, I saw on the client tab the MAC address of the laptop but no IP adress was assigned. Really strange.
I finally upgraded the firmware from 4.1.0 (2022-11-14) to the latest one (4.6.6, 2024-09-26) and still not working with this Dell laptop, while few others were able to connect. I changed the encryption from WPA2 to WPA/WPA2 and still no luck. Then I return to WPA2 only configuration. After a while the laptop was able to join without changing any setting (??!!!)
Now, the problem is that some devices are not able to see or detect WIFI 2.4G AP. They've been disconnected at the same time as the Dell laptop on the 5G band.
I have:
_ 1 HP printer (2.4G only) which does not detect the Wi-Fi.
_ 1 Dreame L10s cleaner robot, which is unable to see the 2.4G network as well.

Any idea what could be the cause of these Wi-Fi issues? The laptop still does work right now but that's weird that the printer cannot connect anymore to the network.

Check which channel the 2.4 GHz Wifi is currently on and reduce it. Most older devices don't like channel 13 for example.

Reduce bandwidth to 20 MHz as well.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and change the settings. Maybe the automatic channel selection could be the cause. Channels > 11 are not available in Europe according to regulations. If it's the case, that could explain why devices which expect channel range between 1-11 do not see the 2.4G network.

In many years of my experience, when making a major firmware update, it helps to factory reset the router. Its not always necessary but in many cases it helps to resolve a problem.
