Hi, I have a Glinet Flint 3 router and GL M2 5G USB dev board with the RM520NGLAA module. I’m using a T-Mobile Home sim card, and successfully cloned the IMEI of the T-Mobile Gateway. The module/sim/dev board works great in windows, giving me internet access. However, when I plug it into my Flint3 router (which is my intended use) the router tells me “sim not registered”. I’ve set the same fast.t-mobile.com APN, I can’t figure out what the problem could be. Please help! Thank you!
Hello,
Please execute the commands to check:
Check the modem operation mode:
AT+QCFG="usbnet"
If 2 is returned, continue:
AT+QCFG="usbnet",0
And reboot the router.
Thank you I've tried that. I currently have it set to 0, but I've tried mode 1 and 2 as well.
Hello, i had exact same problem with my Slate 7. Solution was to upgrade firmware to newer version. Also i could not make my modem to work with fast.t-mobile.com APN, i had to use standart “internet” APN, important thing is you need to set IPv4&IPv6 type, an possibly CHAP Authentication.
I've tried it with my flint3 and slate7, same problem. What do you mean by "internet" apn? I've tried fast.t-mobile.com and fbb.home. Thanks
Hi, please ensure the four ipex cables and antennas are connected properly to the M2 board
If issue persists, please go to Modem AT Command page to export the debug info and PM me the message.
Thank you, they are. As I said the card/module work fine in windows, just not with the router.
Please go to Modem AT Command page to export the debug info and PM to Cathy.
Modem debug info message sent.
