Previous version of the beta (4.2.0 release2) for GL-AXT1800 (Slate AX) I think had a FTP server as an option in the Application → Network Storage screen. It seems the new beta, 4.2.0 release3, has deleted that function, which was very nice.
GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX) also has the FTP server option (4.2.0).
Is the FTP server option going to exist for Slate AX?
FTP & NFS will not be available in the release version of 4.2 both Slate AX and Beryl AX.
Is FTP going to be added in a future version of the firmware in Network Storage?
I know we have Openwrt, but nice to have everything in the same screen with a simple toogle button.
Possible when we make it stable.
Just a thumb up for this. I’m trying to get the ftp working manually via SSH but I can’t even tell it where the ftp home user’s folder is. It’s very confusing.
