GiI net MT3000 unable to handshake with cruise ship wifi

Hi, I am able to connect to the cruise ship SSID but with no internet access. I am also able to get the the log in portal but when I try to handshake the router to the ships WiFi it hangs as if it won't allow to device. I've camouflaged, cloned Mac address etc with out success , any advice.

Hi,

The MT3000 firmware versions may have compatibility issues when repeating some WPA3-SAE Wi-Fi networks.

Could you please try upgrading the firmware to v4.9.1-op25 and check again whether the router can connect to the cruise ship Wi-Fi normally?

If the issue still occurs after upgrading, could you please provide a screenshot showing the Repeater connection status or the page where the login process gets stuck and export the System Log after the issue occurs, without rebooting the router, and send it to us via private message.

Hi, still no luck with connecting. Has support got an email address as I can't send the logs from the router as it has no internet

Hi,

We have replied to you via private message.

For the logs, you can also use the GL.iNet mobile app to export the System Log from the router and then send the exported log file to us via private message.
