GL -3000 bottle necking

So I have starlink with XLTTYWL Starlink V2 PoE Injector, 180W 5-in-1 GigE Passive & ESD Protection 12V with USB & Type-C Power Output, SPX Cable Adapter and Converter DC 9-36V/180W for Dishy

For some reason I'm getting bottlenecking at 100 Mbps. I've tried different cat 6 cat 8 cables but still bottlenecking

Any ideas?

Hi

Could you please clarify:

  1. What is the exact device model? I assume it’s the Beryl AX MT3000?
  2. Are you experiencing an issue where the negotiation speed of a specific port is stuck at 100 Mbps? Which port is it?
You can find the port negotiation speed in Admin Panel → Network → Port Management.

It's a Spitz AX GL-X3000

It's bottlenecking on all wan ports. I don't have a LAN port at the moment to check the LAN

I even tried to change the port 2 LAN to want and still showing 100 Mbps full duplex as seen in the photo

So, currently there are no other devices with Ethernet ports available (such as a laptop, desktop, or another router)?

If that’s the case, troubleshooting may be difficult, as we won’t be able to compare and check whether there’s an issue with the Ethernet port of the XLTTYWL Starlink V2 PoE Injector.

No my laptop doesn't have a Ethernet port and I don't own a desktop. But i had this same problem using the dishie Dualie

Does this refer to the Dishy Dualie?

Based on the specifications, that device appears to support both active and passive PoE on its router Ethernet port.

Since the Spitz AX (GL-X3000) does not support PoE input, did you adjust the internal jumper on the Dishy Dualie to disable the PoE function before connecting it?

If the jumper was not adjusted, the voltage supplied by the Dishy Dualie may have damaged the Ethernet port on the X3000.

It would be best to double test with another regular device that has an Ethernet port so we can confirm this.

The Router POE is disabled by default though..

[STARVMOUNT NOTE: Connecting a non-PoE router to the Dishy Dualie Router’s Ethernet port with PoE enabled will likely damage the PoE chip on the Dishy Dualie. To prevent accidental damage, all Dishy Dualie units supplied via Starvmount have the Router PoE jumper set to disable Router’s Ethernet port PoE functionality.]

I read you have tried changing the cables betwwen the poe injector and Ax3000, have you also tried changing the cables between starlink and poe injector?

It appears that only this vendor disables passive PoE power by default.

Other vendors don’t seem to mention this behavior—for example, boondocker.io, which is referenced in the Starvmount FAQ.

No I'm using the XLTTYWL Starlink V2 PoE Injector now

But previously I was using dishy Dualie and was getting the same 100 Mbps full duplex

I am not using Dishy Dualie anymore I'm using the XLTTYWL

No because if I use the starlink router I don't get bottleneck. I get 230-240 mbps

With the Poe and GL -x3000 it bottlenecks

As mentioned earlier, if you were using the Dishy Dualie without adjusting the jumper to disable the passive PoE function, the X3000—which does not support PoE—may have had its Ethernet port damaged. In that case, switching to other devices would not resolve the issue.

We recommend testing with another device with Ethernet port to further confirm this.

Once the issue is confirmed, you can send an email to cs@gl-inet.com with a link to this thread to request after-sales support.

So just to clarify. You want me to connect the LAN terminal to a laptop or PC and see if it's bottlenecking at 100mbps? And if it is send a support ticket with this thread?

Yes, exactly
