hello,
is there a plan to allow DFS scan in repeater mode on a1300? or do i need other hw?

You can just use Luci I think.

@alzhao i dont get it, use Luci for what? thanks

Use luci to configure repeater to connect DFS WiFi.

@alzhao
do i need to install luci or its already there? thanks

It is already there.

but how to access it? its different port? or?

Advanced options from the menu. Takes you to luci.

@lostdog yes but i cant see there Scan option for repeater, maybe i am in wrong config section?

Google is your friend.

Try clicking on the Scan button next to radio1. It looks like the router WWAN is already connected as a client to SSID OpenWrt_5Ghz as a repeater.

I do not work for and I am not directly associated with GL.iNet

yes but once i connect to that 5ghz dfs network ; a1300 5ghz adapter in ap mode disappered

i cant connect only to 2g wifi of a1300
now i cant connect to any non DFS 5g ap … getting all the time

Timeout in response. Please check the network environment or reboot the device.

can anyone advice why i am not able to connect as Repeater to any non DFS 5ghz and getting constantly error

something happened and it got connected.
seems device is so unstable …

You can always put a more stock version of OpenWRT on if you’re concerned about the stability of the GLI front end (I do). But my general experience is that doing luci combined with the GLI stuff is a recipe to get things out of sync.

Ah! I have a US plug. Would do anything to change with an EU plug.
