GL-A1300 Network Storage

I've setup my Slate Plus with Network Storage, fully accessible on my MacBook but is nowhere to be found on my Windows 10 laptop. I can only assume that there's some specific switch or setting I have to set on Windows but I have looked everywhere and have no clue, whatsoever. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Please refer to this guide to create the link in Windows explorer.

Hello,

I am having a similar issue adding a network location on my computer. The computer throws an error message that the link is invalid. I have tested it in WebDav and mobile app, which both work as expected.
I have a public IP.

Any ideas?

Do you mean accessing the router's Samba/WebDav in a PC which it from an external network?

But only the Samba supported the WAN access:

Is this computer Mac, Win or Linux? Check the PC OS first.

Computer is Windows OS. I have a network device connected to GL-X3000 and I am looking to access the files through local area network. I can access the same NAS over WebDav and it is working as expected.
Samba feature you have in the snip is enabled. My computer does not recognize the link provided by the router.

Do not use anonymous access, set the username and password, use \\192.168.8.1\disk1_part1 to access and connects ok.

  1. Please check your Samba configuration process.
  2. Please share the syslog logread.tar file.
