gl-A1300 Slate Plus no internet

I just received my Slate Plus - connected by ethernet to my router.

Admin page shows green connection between router and GLA1300 as well as WLAN client but i can not open any web pages and my settings show that my connection from laptop to GLA1300 has no internet. I restarted router and GLA1300 already.. any suggestions?

Did you connected the Slate WAN port via Ethernet to the LAN port of your router?

Well, without providing further information, no one will be able to help you.

I get that but I am not a network expert. I verified that the ethernet cable from my router worked by plugging it into my laptop and I had no issues connecting to the internet. But when i plugged that same cable into the GLA1300 router and connected per WIFI then the device had no internet. So I know my internet works and something is wrong with the GLA1300. I reset the GLA1300 to factory settings and the only thing I can thin of is that the device initially requested me to do a device firmware upgrade and now it wont connect to internet.. Firmware version 4.5.19 and Fimrware Type is Release 1. Under compile time it states "invalid time".

Could you provide a screenshot of the dashboard please?

Any suggestions?
