I have the GL-AX1800 router installed at my home with all my devices wired to it. I travel with the GL-A1300 travel router, and have port forwarded my ISP router to give me a VPN tunnel, but I am not able to see or access the other devices on the network.

How is VPN dashboard set up? (There are many options)
While you communicate/drive through a tunnel you cannot see what is outside this tunnel except via the entry/exit points.
Global Proxy
If the VPN is connected, all traffic will be routed through the VPN. Only one VPN client instance can be activated.
I setup Wireguard on the VPN dashboard. I have enabled Remote Access LAN, IP Masquerading, and Client to Client.
- Which router (which model?) are you using? GL-AX1800 (Home) GL-A1300 (Travel)
- Which firmware version is in use? GL-AX1800 v4.6.8 , GL-A1300 v4.5.19
- How is your router connected to the Internet? By cable via the Cox panoramic router from Cox cable
- Which DNS server do you use? Adguard
- Do you use DHCP or static IP addresses? DHCP
I assume you probably did set up "Wireguard server" on the GL-AX1800 and the GL-A1300 is the "Wireguard client".
Would you need routing rules at the AX1800? Depends on the network there.
