GL-AR300M as Wifi Client AND Access Point at the same time?

Hello, I wonder if it is possible to use the GL-AR300M as a Wifi Client AND Access Point at the same time. My scenario is as follows:

  • Connect GL-AR300M to the hotel WIFI as a Wifi client
  • Connect to my home router using Wireguard VPN
  • Provide an SSID for my local devices (example: SSID SECURE)
  • Tunnel connections of my local devices via the Wireguard tunnel to my home router

As the GL-AR300M only appears to have one single 2,4Ghz radio, I wonder if this is possible?
If not, is it possible with dual band routers (2,4Ghz & 5Ghz) as they have two radios? Or would it work by connecting an USB WIFI stick to the USB port?

It's possible, but it only supports 2.4GHz and 50Mbps WireGuard. If that's OK for you, go ahead.
