I would like to connect my Slate to an external antenna, that provides a female or better RP-SMA jack. My problem is, that I haven’t found out the correct plug type of the Slate’s antenna port. Is it a male CRC-9 / TS-5? Or something else?

ufl to rp sma is what you need
For wifi product, on the PCBA, there is always a uFL connector
Then the uFL wire extend to the plastic case and then it will be RP-SMA connector.
