GL-AR750S Huawei E3372 and E3276 not found?

I don 't know how to setup the stick manully. My hope was not to do that.

attached a screen of my manual setup.

I found some information about the Huawai AT Commands:
AT^SETPORT? - show current mode
AT^SETPORT=? - show available modes

^SETPORT:1: 3G MODEM
^SETPORT:2: 3G PCUI
^SETPORT:3: 3G DIAG
^SETPORT:5: 3G GPS
^SETPORT:A: BLUE TOOTH
^SETPORT:16: NCM
^SETPORT:A1: CDROM
^SETPORT:A2: SD
^SETPORT:10: 4G MODEM
^SETPORT:12: 4G PCUI
^SETPORT:13: 4G DIAG
^SETPORT:14: 4G GPS

This was the default port set on my first try: AT^SETPORT:A1,A2;12,16,A1,A2

I changed it now to this port set: AT^SETPORT=“FF;10,12,16”
I found that on another Forum
But no Luck with this port set too. It doen’t connect on the GL-AR750S but on Windows.
In the Router I found some connection logging on the System Log. Maybe this helps to find out why its not connecting:

Can you answer this question by giving a screenshot of the Internet UI, including tethering area?

You can also ssh to the router and check interfaces using the following command

ls /dev/
ifconfig -a

I cannot use the Tethering Option because it says no Tethering device found (see screen).
This is the output of both commands:

I see. Thanks. One way could be to set up nom connection for this modem. You can refer to openwrt for some guide. Like this one Huawei E3372 with NCM - #13 by bmork - Installing and Using OpenWrt - OpenWrt Forum

Another way is to try ROOter firmware from here ROOter by Of Modems and Men download the one for AR750S. It is only for Nor flash so pls flash via boot.

I solved it for myself. I followed the instructions below:

I found out that everything is already installed. So I edited the file / etc / config / network as described and had a first success. However, the connection only worked sometimes.
I added on the Interface ‘modem_1_1’ the following:
option pincode ‘xxxx’ xxxx stands for your SIM PIN.
Now the connection works every time I startup the Router.
The Router Website is now also showing the traffic and IP Address:
2019-11-11%2014_28_29-Window

This are my settings for both interfaces ‘wwan’ and ‘modem_1_1’:
config interface ‘wwan’
option proto ‘ncm’
option device ‘/dev/cdc-wdm0’
option ifname ‘wwan0’
option apn ‘internet’
option mode ‘preferlte’
option pincode ‘xxxx’ ← PIN of your SIM
option delay ‘5’

config interface ‘modem_1_1’
option ifname ‘3g-modem’
option service ‘fdd_lte’
option proto ‘3g’
option device ‘/dev/ttyUSB0’
option metric ‘40’
option disabled ‘0’
option pincode ‘xxxx’ ← PIN of your SIM

Thank you for your support, maybe my solution will help you too.

Interesting you set up wwan and modem_1_1 at the same time.

But which one is working? I assume only one config is necessary.

you’re right, only the interface ‘modem_1_1’ is active/working

It may need to be unlocked. I have that same one, & it works, but the internet connection is really slow. It’s nothing to brag about. You’ll be better off using the EasyTether APK on a cell phone & do the proper driver installations & command prompts
