GL-AR750S Huawei E3372 and E3276 not found?

Hi,

on my device I can´t find Huawei E3372 or E3276 Stick on WebIF, not on Modem or on Tethering.
On compatible list, both devices are listet, so, whot I´m doing wrong?
Newest Firmware from 3.025 is installed.

from lsusb, the device is not detected at all. It means the USB port does not work is is powered off.

Can you plug other USB devices e.g. usb storage to it?

The USB Power is controlled by GPIO. If you didn’t touch it, it should be enabled by default.

Also can you check if you have a powerful power adapter. The included 5V2A adapter should work.

I testet a 2.4 A Anker power supply and also an usb-powered hub.
If I put some other USB device (Memorystick) in it, no change.
So how can I check GPIO ??

This GPIO 7 (usbpower LED) should be the USB Power control. It should output 0 when enabled

To enable USB Power if disabled

Hi,

I bought the GL-AR750S for a few days and diretly update it to Firmware version 3.025. I also checked the compatible list for the usb modems and bought the huawai E3276 to use it with the GL-AR750S. The usb modem should be found, but the connection should not be established.

On the webIF The Model Name is empty and the IMEI is empty.
I can click on auto setup and it will not connect or if I enter the data of the Provider in manuel Setup, the connection will not establish.
The usb modem is working under Windows 10.

Whats wrong?

Your case is a little different. The modem is recognized. The mode and IMEI are not displayed and it is normal. Only quectel modems is supported.

Can you set up manually?
Pls share a screenshot of the settings?
Does the modem works in tethering mode? A screenshot should tell about this.
Finally if then modem works only in modem mode you can ssh to the router and set up using NCM which is Huawei protocol for its modems.

Try to search the forum and openwrt forum to have a check. I am on trip and cannot access internet for a while.
