GL-ATXPC cannot drive PWRBTN pins on ASRock H670 PG Riptide (RESET works)

I use a Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE, latest firmware) with the GL-ATXPC board on an ASRock H670 PG Riptide. "Restart" from the Accessories menu works, but "Power (Short/Long Press)" does nothing. I isolated the issue by swapping wires:

▎ - ATX board POWER channel → motherboard RESET pins: works (PC resets)
▎ - ATX board RESET channel → motherboard RESET pins: works
▎ - POWER channel → PWRBTN pins: fails (both polarities, both terminals 4/5, short and long press)
▎ - RESET channel → PWRBTN pins: fails (both polarities, tested while PC was ON so the UI did send the pulse)
▎ - Physical case button pass-through → PWRBTN pins: works
▎ - PC power state detection (green LED / PLED): works

▎ So both output channels work, but neither can drive this motherboard's PWRBTN input, while a mechanical switch can. This looks like the PWRBTN line's pull-up being too strong for the board's electronic switch. Is there a known fix (firmware, hardware revision) or a recommended workaround?

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry for the inconvenience. This is due to a compatibility issue between the GL-ATX and your specific motherboard. As a temporary solution, you could look into our Fingerbot. It's a physical button pusher you can stick directly to the power button on your motherboard or PC case to turn it on/off wirelessly.
