GL-AX1800 Flint – Future Firmware Support and Availability of Firmware 4.9+

Hello,

I would like to know what the final firmware version planned for the GL-AX1800 Flint will be.

Will the GL-AX1800 Flint receive firmware version 4.9 and future firmware releases beyond 4.9, or will support stop at an earlier version?

Could you please provide information regarding the long-term firmware roadmap and the expected final firmware version for this router?

Hi

We do have plans to release a v4.9.x (or later) firmware version for the AX1800.

However, it may take some time before it becomes available, and we do not expect it to be released in the near future due to limited development and testing resources at the moment.
