GL-AXT1800 and GL-M2 5G loses internet access after a few minutes

Hi all,

I've bought the GL-AXT1800 Slate AX and GL-M2 5G Development Board.
I've update the router to the latest Software version 4.6.2.
Modem Firmware is RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.201.01.201

My problem is now, I have a few mintues internet access and loses it after a few mintues.

I also see nothing in the system and kernel log, because after no connection, it didn't log something new.

The issue might be, that the modem has another IP as the router interface it self.

After a reboot the modem and the interface have the same IP.

I also reinstalled version 4.6.2 without keeping the settings, so that it has the default settings.

Can anyone help me out here?
If you need anything else, please let me know.

Thank you.

I've disabled all Interface Status Track in the GL.iNet Admin Panel, but that didn't help.

In the Luci interface, I don't see the load balancing mwan feature, should I install this package?

Can I take a look at it remotely?

Yes, sure.
I will setup it when I'm at home and let you know.

It looks like the problem is because you have a bad 5G signal in your location
Resulting in switching back and forth between 5G and 4G

I locked your module to LTE
You can test it
thank you

After reboot, the router is now stable for 30 minutes.
I will run it a hole day an send you a feedback after.

Can you tell me how you locked down, the module to 4G?
I searched online and found to ways, the one in the GL-Admin Interface with Band Masking, but that don't work with mine and the other one with the AT command, which I don't know which paramenter I should use. I also thought, that this might be the problem, because in the interface I saw switching between 4G and 5G.

So could tell me how to lock to 4G only and 5G only, because in my area I should have on both good coverage.

Many thanks.

It seems like the problem has been resolved with the lookdown.
24h no issue.

But can you tell me how you locked down, the module to 4G and can you also tell my to only lock to 5G?

Many thanks
