GL-AXT1800 crashed

Hi, new here, really like the router so far, but never had a router on stable firmware crash on me for a long time. Got a MikroTik router with the same chipset, that has also never crashed so far… :sweat_smile: Bought it a few days ago from Amazon. Also mailed support including full logs.
Router was connected with WAN ethernet (DHCP), running one single WireGuard tunnel, and Adguard home.
Firmware info is Version 4.2.0, Firmware Type release3, Compile Time 2023-03-10 0:37:13(UTC+08:00)
It crashed with 2 MacBooks and an iPhone connected, WPA3 PSK SSID, same name for 2.4/5G.
Any help with this? Should I try a different build? Saw there are beta builds as well as one with a 5.x kernel.

I’m hearing a lot of issues with 4.2.0 firmwares in general on all devices. I’d stick with 4.1.0 or lower for right now.

Noob here, can I just downgrade it and keep settings, or should I reset and start fresh?

I always recommend a fresh start unless you have a very tedious or specific setup where that’s problematic.
