GL-AXT1800 Wireguard server and Client Setup

Hi,

I recently got the GL.iNet GL-AXT1800, and it’s running perfectly.

My setup has the GL.iNet connected to my ISP router, with the ISP router's IP being 192.168.1.1 and the GL.iNet having 192.168.8.1. It’s in router mode, and I’ve got the WireGuard client up and running.

I've got a few questions:

  1. How can I access the GL.iNet admin panel from devices on 192.168.1.1?
  2. How can I reach the devices connected to the GL.iNet from 192.168.1.1?
  3. Can I run both a WireGuard server and client at the same time?
  4. Is it possible to switch the default DDNS to Cloudflare DDNS?

  1. Add the port opening, 80. You can use the WAN IP of the AXT1800 to be access on the 192.168.1.0/24.

  2. Please refer to this thread, to enable the WAN group on the firewall (Luci > Network > Firewall)

  2. No. But you can install the third-party plugin luci-app-ddns to use the Cloudflare ddns service.
