GL-B2200 Velica firmware release schedule?

@Duncan

What issues were you having? Might help the developers out if they know what they need to work on.

No good “complaining” if the devs don’t know what the issues are.

Cheers.

This isn’t the place for bug or defect tracking.
I wasn’t complaining.

@Duncan

Hahaha that’s why I put complaining in quote marks.

If you can tell them why you’ve gone back to stable though hopefully it points them in the right direction as there’s no real defect/bug reporting system for users and at least this thread appears to be getting some traction.

Cheers.

It will be updated tomorrow(20220125).

For ZigBee, I have given feedback to the relevant people.

Appreciate. But of course don’t push to meet that deadline. If you need more time to give us a better/stabler version, then take more time, just let us know

Upgrade
Upgrade from 3.211 1-10 went smoothly and all came back up
Clients now show per node
Wireguard server working fine
Goodcloud access works but only shows devices attached to the main node
Advanced option in More Settings
LUCI installed via Advanced option

Thank you for that.

Compared to other model firmwares:
Still no remove unattached client
No remote SSH/Web inteface from Goodcloud

What will be the upgrade program going forward for the Velica?

Goodcloud access works but only shows devices attached to the main node。
—》For MESH mode,Which shows only Main Node.

No remote SSH/Web inteface from Goodcloud
—》 Goodcloud has enabled permissions,You can use it now.

Still no remove unattached client
—》 It will update as soon as possible

It's sad that Velica is so neglected in contrast to other products, although the box is not that old and is still in your program. Is there a change that Velica will get a firmware version 4 or can I already prepare to scrap the expensive devices? :triumph:

Why is the Velica missing out on this security feature:

It's strangely absent and the device is not end of life?

Who will carry a Velica for travel?

This is a problem for all home routers and Apple should fix their part and this will not be a problem.

For a travel router, even Apple fixed their part, we think a randomdised bssid can help in various scenarios.

List mentions:
Flint, Flint 2, Convexa, SF1200, none of these are travel routers, but are receiving this 4.6 update.
I'm amazed to see the SF1200 is getting 4.6 firmware.

Well, as it's powered via USB C, it's actually quite practical to take it with me to some places.

currently testing 3.218
