Been running into a minor issue where my comet randomly drops connection to my tailnet. When this happens I am unable to access the KVM the way I would prefer, through the tailnet IP. Anyone else having this issue or a solution to this issue?
I was also using it as an exit node and had planned on enabling a subnet to access other devices on my network but am having second thoughts given the unreliability. Whenever the connection drops I have to manually toggle it back in on the KVM interface as well, so I am at a loss for why it would be auto toggling itself off.
If I do not know when the disconnection happened does that matter as far as the disconnection is concerned? I haven’t used the exit node since posting this and the KVM has not dropped connection in that time either. I could enable the node again and see if it drops today but will the log show the disconnect? also how do I export the log? is it in the interface that I access in the webportal?
Also, we will try to reproduce this issue.
May I confirm that you enable the Tailscale and exit node, does the exit node is set to be Comet or other devices? Is there anything I miss.
I set the Comet as the exit node. Today I didn’t get to really test but I will do it tomorrow and have multiple devices using the node to see if I can replicate the problem again.
