GL-E750 increase WIFI power when plugged in

Hello,

I am interested in dynamically changing the wifi power on E750 so when the device is plugged in it is strongest, and when it is unplugged it is weakest.

It would seem that this is possible, the OLED screen indicates a charging battery so the OS must know somewhere that it is plugged in.

Before I start spending time on this, is there some reason that this would be a bad idea? Any suggestions on where I can find these variables would be helpful - maybe Gl.inet could add this feature in the future, others may find it useful

Yes, you can, but you need to develop some program or shell script to realize your requiements.
you can use ubus call mcu status command to get the batter charging status.
