GL-E750 V1 and V2 Repeater issue

Repeater mode in both versions of Mudi cannot detect any surrounding network. Both routers need several reboots to detect Wi-Fi signals. When the connection is established, no dropouts are recorded.

May I know what firmware version of them?

Try enable the 'Force 20MHz Bandwidth for 2.4G', wait patiently for it to finish scanning.

The firmware is updated to version 4.3.19. Forcing 20MHz didn’t resolve the issue. I received the message: “Operation timed out. Please check the network environment or reboot the device.” After a few reboots, the repeater started working as expected.

Due to the device performance of E750, may be not fast when scanning WIFI.
Please wait patiently for the scanning to complete before operating.
If issue still occur, please PM me the syslog.

Disabling the 5G wireless network on the E750 allowed the repeater to finish scanning and establish a connection to the WiFi.

I am actually having this exact same problem since the v4 firmware upgrade. I get this error all the time now even when I remove the SIM

Any thoughts?

Can you send out the full log?

Is there a way to share it privately not on the public forum? I worry about any inadvertent data leakage.

UPDATE: I sent this as a direct message to your @JerryZhao

Could you show me the wifi config?

cat /etc/config/wireless

I checked the logs and suspect it's a configuration issue. Can you share the device via goodcloud so I can check the issue remotely?

this has been added to goodcloud. DeviceID sent in direct message
