I want to connect my GL-E750 device’s TYPE-C port to my MacBook-PRO Thunderbolt port to access the internet (without connecting to the wireless network or using an Ethernet cable through a Type-C replicator). Isn’t this possible?
Is there no regular tethering feature for this device?
There is no regular tethering mode like this integrated, afaik.
E750 does not support tethering external for other devices.
It is strange, can we do that by a plugin?
Or Do GL-Inet team have a plan to implement this one?
Because even basic devices support this feature.

This function is not only implemented by relying on software (plug-ins), but also requires hardware support, and the E750 does not support external tether in hardware.
The E750 is not a mobile phone or dongle.
If you want to use wired, please consider the E750's dock and it has RJ45 interface.
