Jeva there is no Offical OpenWRT vanilla build yet as its not in the master.
For now there is only community builds, however the IPQ60xx SOC has started to be put into OpenWRT’s master branch.
So its only a matter of time.
The builds i supply are from OpenWRT master and then patched up to support the SOC, so all the packages are from OpenWRT etc so in terms of your question if its in OpenWRT its the same as what i supply.
I got a AX1800 today with official 4.5 firmware. I tried to flash your latest snapshot R25257 ubi image via Uboot. I waited about 10 minutes before I power cycle it. The router still boot up with the official 4.5 firmware. It seems the router wont take the ubi image. I tried two more prior version and they are same issue. The uboot version in the AX1800 is uboot2.0 version:21.08.31.
Can anyone comment on the reliability of the 6.1.78 Kernel builds? I’m looking to move away from the clunky outdated GI firmware to vanilla OpenWRT. GF and I both work from home, so stability is pretty important, I have a Flint2 on my Starlink running the snapshots and it seems to be pretty stable overall on Kernel 6.1.x.
Restarting of wifi still happens, I have tried with older version r24247 and current one r24920.
Disconnecting of wifi have different affects on 2 different phones.
Both on wifi6, both have static IPv4 and IPv6 via SLAAC and with device mac address.
Motorola edge 30 : It disconnects and connects automatically after 5 seconds or so.
Oneplus 7t : It takes around 30 seconds to a minute to connect.
As of now i saw the system logs and kernel logs. nothing was mentioned or i forgot how to check.
And other thing i found that ttyd sometimes just doesnt show up the screen until i restart the router. SSH works normally.
I am looking for a way to install strongswan or libreswan. The gl-inet 4.5 is missing dependency iptables-mod-ipsec. I searched and couldn’t find a version in any openwrt repository that will install. I looked in the @solidus1983 manifest but didn’t see this package. Just wondering if it is possible to do?
