GL.INet B3000 Marble, WDS and some questions

Hello! This is my first post in this forum and I'm novice on OpenWRT and GL.INet products, being the B3000 my first router. I want to do a WDS configuration between this router (as main router) and another router with OpenWRT custom firmware preinstalled. Some questions:
-Is WDS server enabled on B3000 by default?
-When I access on OpenWRT to the wireless configuration on LuCi it shows to me this screen:

It's secure to proceed from that screen to modify my networks? Could affect it to my router/wireless performance?
-Is there some way of doing a backup of my configuration (wireless networks, port forwarding config...)?
-Could upgrades affect to the config I have done on my router? I saw, in other router models, that jumping from 3.x firmware to 4.x firmware needed to lose configs. Could this happen on the B3000 model (for instance, jumping from current 4.5 to future 4.7 or hypothetic 5.0 firmware)?

Thanks for all.

There is no need for WDS server. WDS is a wireless network topology that allows wireless devices to establish bridge connections for mutual communication, thus expanding network coverage. Just let another router connects to the B3000 WiFi via WDS.

It safe to click 'continue'. Only notice, it will not affect the GL GUI configurations.

Luci -> System -> Backup... -> Download Backup.

It will not, feel free to upgrade with 'keep settings'.
