Gl.inet Brume 2 to TPlink router

Hi, i am trying to figure out how to port forward from my Brume2 to TPlink router when wire guard is on, the wire guard server is currently on the Brume 2 and i can see its connected, but when i try to access the Tplink router's IP via browser or try to ping it, I can't see the TPlink router. I have tried the WAN port and the LAN port nothing sees to be working. Any help would be appreciated.

What is your topology? It is best to draw a picture.

What client device do you access TP-Link through the browser, on your phone/laptop?

Because you mentioned WG VPN, is this mobile phone/laptop that accesses TP-Link a VPN Client, or is it in the TP-Link LAN?

hi Bruce, i am using wireguard client on a laptop, using my phone as hotpot to connect to TPLink router to check if i can access internal network.

i am not so good with pictures but this i what i drew, where W is wan port and L is Lan Port

I guess 192.168.10.1 is Brume2? If so:

  1. TP-LINK has one more NAT, so Brume 2 cannot access the TP network 192.168.2.0/24.

  2. It needs to be simulated as an external test for the WG connection. Example, the phone is connected to the Brume2 WG server as a WG client, so the phone cannot be connected to the home (or office) LAN, it should use cellular and not connect to the home WiFi.

As there is problem 1 on topology, the easiest change is to set TP-LINK to AP mode so that your home LAN will not have 2 layers NAT, and it also ensures that the WG client can access the home devices through Brume 2 WG server.

I have now setup my TP-link to AP and can access my devices via Brum2 WG server

thanks for all your help on this one.
