Gl.Inet DDNS not 100% up

Hi,
this is my issue.
I started to notice that the DDNS resolve failed sometimes, so I created a script to ping it every 5 minutes and for example yesterday, it failed twice during the day (I can provide the UTC time in case).
I have a Flint 2 with the Native OpenWrt 24 firmware version 4.6.6-op24.
My questions are:

  1. this could be cause by the Firmware above?

  2. in case where can I found some log in the router?

  3. there is some sort of Gl.Inet global log that can check for outage of their DNS resolution?

do you have any other suggestion?
    thanks
    cheers

Ping isn't a reliable way to check if the DNS resolver is working fine.
You should consider switching to dig instead.

Ok, good information, I will check "dig" and write a script for it.
Just to be clear and give the big picture, I first notice this issue not with ping, but because my phone was not able to open a wireguard tunnel with the error that the DNS was not solved.
In the same moment I connected to the router without issue.
The Router was not rebooting or nothing.
there are some log that I can check inside the router that you are aware of? @admon

Not really. The GLDDNS service is the issue, if there is any.
Unfortunately, GLDDNS has not exactly shone with reliability lately due to DDOS attacks, among other things.

Thanks for your answer, I added "dig" in my monitoring script.
I hope to have more info soon.
